Your big day is finally here! You arrive at the ceremony space and see your Celebrant who’s already there, crossing t’s dotting i’s and making sure everything’s perfect. You feel instantly relaxed, knowing you chose someone who is completely invested in making sure your moment is a magical one.

You give yourself a little pat on the back and perhaps a cheeky swig of bubbles because you know they’ve got you. They’ve got this. And your ceremony is going to be off the charts. You’ve both spent the time connecting and really getting to know one another. You feel calm in their presence, and you know when you’re all up there at the alter it’s going to feel like being up there with an old friend who’s been there all along.

This is how I want YOU to feel on your wedding day and spoiler alert that Celebrant is me!

Who you choose to marry you matters

Any Authorised Marriage Celebrant can legally marry you, but what they deliver, the vibe they bring, and how they make you feel can vary a lot.

When you’re choosing a Celebrant for your wedding it’s so so important you choose someone who you connect with. Someone who’s on your level, makes you feel at ease, and brings the kind of personality you know your friends and fam will love.

You want a Celebrant who makes you feel supported and empowered to make decisions you love and are on board with when it comes to your big day.

It was my dad's idea for me to become a celebrant

In 2018 while I was working in a government-based Executive Assistant job, my Dad called me. Thinking he would only call during office hours if it was an emergency, I answered, asking if everything was ok. ‘I just called to say I think you should be a Marriage Celebrant’ was the response. To say that was the last thing I expected him to say would be an understatement, but honestly I wish I had thought of it myself!
I am a hopeless romantic, super organised, genuinely love admin (no, really) and I have always been able to tell a good story and make people laugh or get them right in the feels. So in a nutshell, all the things that make for a great Celebrant!

I love my little fam to bits

I am wifey to John the gentle giant, and Mum to toddler Ellie - along with a very enthusiastic English Staffy called Rosie and a very grumpy rescue cat called Ruby-Sue.
My little family is the very best part of my life and I always get so excited when couples want to include their own children or furbabies in their love party, because I get it!

I've been a Bride, a Bridesmaid, a Maid of Honour and an MC

So I know first hand how you and your wedding day crew are feeling and know all the tricks to put your minds at ease and make sure everyone has the best day ever.
This is me as a bridesmaid at my dear friend Lia and Pete’s wedding in Sydney and I have also been a bridesmaid at weddings in Las Vegas and Bali.
I mean it when I say I will happily travel for love!
I love to travel

Before the virus that won’t be named took hold of the world, I was crazy about travelling. I lived in London for 3.5 years in my early 20’s and have visited over 30 countries.
I’m always on the lookout for new spots to check out!
I'm a proud Millennial

I remember a time before the internet and mobile phones, and I refuse to accept that emojis are no longer cool and that low rise jeans are making a comeback. I also recently invested in a good eye cream.
I'm low-key obsessed with podcasts and watching videos on YouTube

Before my YouTube algorithm was hijacked by the likes of The Wiggles and Baby Shark (toddler’s choice, not mine!) I would be all about home renovation channels and gamer ‘lets play’s. I start most of my sentences these days with ‘I was listening to this podcast the other day and…’. If you ever need any recommendations or if you have some to share, please hit me up!
My first love was... Super Mario

And he’s still a big part of my life even to this day. Hubby and I are self proclaimed gamer nerds and own a silly number of different gaming consoles and board games. Games night anyone?
